About the project

In April 2019, Council completed the stage 1 scope of works to remove spans one and two of the Noble Street pedestrian bridge superstructure. Removal of the spans is required due to deterioration of the bridge's structural components and public safety concerns.

Survey and investigation work for stage 2 of the project was completed in mid-August 2019.

Further information about the project will be provided to local residents and businesses as the design progress.
