Construction impacts

Council is planning to undertake the site investigations intermittently over a one-week period from early February 2020, weather and site conditions permitting. The majority of work will be carried out between 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Some night works may be required when traffic volumes are lowest to ensure the safety of road users and workers. Any night works will be undertaken between 7pm-5am, Sunday to Thursday.

Residents and businesses in proximity to the works may experience some additional noise while machinery is used during the investigation works. Temporary lane closures may be required and if needed, traffic control will be onsite to assist motorists through the site. Sylvan Road will remain open during the works and local access will not be affected. Short delays may be experienced.

Council will make every effort to minimise disruption during these investigation works. Further information about the project and upcoming construction activities will be provided to local residents and businesses, as the design progresses.

Council apologises in advance for any disruption these works may cause and appreciates your patience and understanding while these important works are carried out.
