Brisbane City Council is resurfacing the Inner City Bypass from Kingsford Smith Drive to the RNA tunnel.

Road works commencing 1 June to 26 June 2020.

About the project

The Inner City Bypass has been identified as a location requiring a surface upgrade to improve safety for motorists.

Impacts during construction

Works will generally be undertaken between the hours of 7pm to 5am, Monday to Thursday.

Temporary closures of the on-ramps and off-ramps will be required during construction. Traffic controllers and signage will be onsite to direct road users through the worksite safely.

Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to the local community during these works. We apologise for any inconvenience the works may cause and appreciate your patience while these important works are completed.

Ramp closures

  • Clem 7 on-ramp will be closed to traffic Monday 13 July between 7pm and 5am
  • Kelvin Grove Road on-ramp Westbound will be closed to traffic Tuesday 14 July between 7pm and 5am
  • Kelvin Grove Road on-ramp Eastbound will be closed to traffic Wednesday 15 July between 7pm and 5am
