Stanley Terrace Investigation Works

Survey works, service locating and geotechnical investigations are required on Moggill Road and Stanley Terrace as part of the investigation and design of potential projects associated with Moggill Road Corridor Upgrade Project Stage 2.

When will this work take place?

This table provides information on the time and dates of the Stanley Terrace investigation works including the start day, finish day and time.
Start Late May 2022, weather and site conditions permitting.
Finish Late June 2022, weather and site conditions permitting
Time and day Works will occur Monday to Saturday from 7.30pm to 5.30am (night works)

Survey and investigation works will be undertaken along Moggill Road between Whitmore Street and Beatrice Street.

Traffic changes and lane closures

For your safety and the safety of road workers, lane closures will be required during the night.

  • Moggill Road (eastbound)
  • Moggill Road (westbound)
  • Beatrice Street
  • Whitmore Street
  • Stanley Terrace
  • Union Street.

How does this impact me?

While we are working, you might experience some inconvenience and noise, but we’ll do our best to avoid disrupting you.

You might experience:

  • ​​​​​​Noise and dust
    Noise and possible dust and vibration may be experienced from the investigation works. For safety reasons, reversing beepers and flashing lights will be used at all times during work hours.
  • Parking restrictions
  • Traffic control
    Speed limits will be reduced in the work areas. Lane closures, changes to traffic flow and short-term traffic disruptions will occur.
  • Temporary lighting
    Lighting towers may be used to light work areas at night.
  • Property access
    Access to residential properties and businesses will be always maintained.
  • Access for people walking and riding
    Although temporary changes may occur, access will be maintained so people can still walk and ride safely near the work areas.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time and seek alternate routes where possible.
