Transport Plan for Brisbane - Consultation Report

Brisbane City Council released the draft Transport Plan for Brisbane - Strategic Directions for consultation in November 2017. Council invited the community, industry and key stakeholders to have their say to help shape Brisbane’s transport future.

Community consultation

During the consultation period from November 2017 to April 2018, Council gathered feedback through:

  • an online poll and survey
  • feedback forms
  • 38 community information sessions
  • targeted workshops and;
  • briefings.

Council received more than 3000 submissions. These submissions ranged from short messages to detailed responses. Many of the ideas and comments were consistent with the intent of the draft plan.

All feedback was reviewed and taken into consideration in development of the final Transport Plan for Brisbane - Strategic Directions and the Transport Plan for Brisbane - Implementation Plan 2018.

Consultation report

Council has also released the Draft Transport Plan for Brisbane - Strategic Directions Consultation Report. This report summarises all comments received during the consultation period. It also identifies how we used the feedback to shape the transport plan and implementation plan.

Council would like to thank everyone who provided feedback and took the time and effort to participate in engagement activities. Your comments and ideas have been extremely valuable.
