Impacts to coach parking

The Queensland Government, in collaboration with Destination Brisbane Consortium, is preparing for the delivery of Queens Wharf Brisbane. As a result of the re-development, Queens Wharf Road has been permanently closed and part of William Street has been closed for at least the next six years.

Approximately 85 metres of bus zone for long-term coach parking, as well as 37 metres of loading zone (5am to 4pm Monday to Friday) on William Street is no longer available due to these road closures.

Council is currently in the process of finalising kerbside allocation in the CBD which will be available for short-term coach set-down and pick-up. In the interim, please use the interactive maps below to find existing alternative locations. Any additional short term set-down and pick-up locations identified will be added to these maps.

Coach operators are encouraged to use the long-term parking at the South Brisbane Depot (Parmalat site). Bookings need to be made prior to the visit through www.buspark.com.au. There is also existing coach parking areas in Albert Street, between Margaret and Alice Street and Upper Albert Street between Turbot Street and Wickham Terrace.
