Boundary Road and Whites Hill Reserve access road intersection upgrade - Coorparoo

Brisbane City Council has completed works to upgrade the Boundary Road and Whites Hill Reserve access road intersection at Coorparoo.

This project was part of Council’s $1.3 billion commitment to more than 90 road improvement projects to take real action on congestion, by focusing on a range of solutions to improve the existing road network, getting residents home quicker and safer.

About the project

Brisbane City Council has completed works to signalise the intersection at Boundary Road and Whites Hill Reserve access road at Coorparoo.

Works included:

  • signalising the Boundary Road and Whites Hill Reserve access road intersection
  • constructing new left and right-turn lanes on Boundary Road
  • constructing new left and right-turn lanes on the Whites Hill Reserve access road
  • installing traffic islands
  • turfing and landscaping works.

Work began in October 2017 and was completed in late May 2018. Council would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation while works were undertaken

Project benefits

The upgrade will facilitate safe and efficient movements through the intersection by improving access into and out of Whites Hill Reserve.
