Indooroopilly State School Drop and Go
Brisbane City Council is proposing to upgrade the Indooroopilly State School drop and go zone along Taringa Parade, Indooroopilly (at the intersection with Moggill Road) to improve pedestrian and motorist safety.
|Address||Taringa Parade, Indooroopilly|
|Project outcomes||Improved pedestrian and motorist safety|
|Latest update||Investigation and survey works|
About the project
The project is being delivered by Council and funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
To inform the project design, Council is undertaking investigation and survey works at Taringa Parade and Moggill Road, Indooroopilly.
Council is committed to keeping the local community informed as the project progresses.
The project will improve pedestrian and motorist safety at Indooroopilly State School.
Additional investigation works are required to finalise the design options, including utility surveys in July 2018, weather permitting.
The majority of work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday; however some Saturday works may be required.
Impacts during works
Local residents may experience noise disruptions and temporary closure of the footpath. Safe pedestrian access around the works will be maintained and signage will be in place to direct pedestrians. Due to workplace health and safety requirements, reversing beepers cannot be switched off. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to the local community.
