Black History Month 2016
Black History Month is a Brisbane City Council program of events that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people's heritage, history and future. Come along to a range of events throughout July 2016 including music, dance, cultural talks, workshops and family fun days. Black History Month runs from 1 July until 31 July 2016.

- Billai Dhagun and Nurri Millen Totems Walk - Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre
Talk a self-guided walk of the Billai Dhagun Track to the Nurri Millen Totems to look at Aboriginal history and culture in the Boondall area.
- Downfall Creek self-guided walk - Downfall Creek Bushland Centre
Take a self-guided walk through Raven Street Reserve, along pathways that were once used of Aboriginal people to hunt and gather in the region.
