30 September to 2 October (Monday-Wednesday)
All beginners are welcome. In this 2-hour class, students will learn the basics of sewing, weaving, or making a sculpture. We will talk about the process, then children will start designing and gathering materials. They will be sharing ideas and create their artwork with guidance.
SEWING: 30 September, Monday
Kids will design their own pattern, choose their own fabrics, cut and sew them up.
WEAVING: 1 October, Tuesday
We will be making a small round stylish rug with their favourite textured materials.
SCULPTURE: 2 October, Wednesday
Kids will create their own sculpture by first making an armature, then use plasters and paper clay. Paint to finish.
3, 4 October (Thursday-Friday)
In this class, students will learn basic acrylic painting skills while working on their step-by-step painting on a stretched canvas. Also, I will be introducing some of the most influential artists around the world and talk about the styles. For the technical side, I will be showing some techniques, methods, shades, and highlights which will be a whole new level for them to try. Each student will be engaged with their creativity as they paint.
