50 Plus: Gentle exercise
11:15am to 12:30pm
Physical activity is an important component of maintaining a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle, especially as you grow older. Regular physical activity and exercise helps you fight obesity, improves flexibility in your joints, helps keep your muscles and bones strong, helps increase your day to day stamina and helps decrease your risk of many chronic diseases including heart or lung disease and diabetes. Gentle Exercise classes include such things as endurance, strength, flexibility and stability exercises to help provide health benefits for a variety of people, including older adults and those with chronic disease such as heart or lung disease or with diabetes.
