Book-to-film club with Aimée Lindorff
6:00pm to 9:30pm
Young adults, Adults, Seniors
If you love books and movies, join this exciting new book club at Brisbane Square Library hosted by Aimée Lindorff of Inside Voice. Read the book, then watch the film, and see how filmmakers reimagine your favourite books and answer the great question – is the book always better? From 1930s outback Australia to 1960s New York, the fantastical and magical to the gothic and contemporary, take a journey through storytelling as we explore the transition from page to screen. In March join us for a screening of Catch Me If You Can and discuss the book by Frank Abagnale.
Bookings required. Phone Brisbane Square Library on 07 3403 4166 to reserve your place.
