Along the walk, deepen your awareness of the natural elements around you and soak in the therapeutic effect. Expect to leave feeling relaxed and restored with a renewed appreciation for your surroundings. The Japanese custom of Shinrin-yoku, translates into 'forest bathing'. Nature has the ability to enhance our mental and physical health, for example by relieving stress and attention fatigue, lowering blood pressure and even helping to resolve depression. <strong>Requirements: </strong>All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. <strong>Note: </strong>Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day. <strong>Meeting point:</strong> Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre.
