The methods and practices in the workshops are designed to restore and nurture the environment and to assist you in growing your garden harmoniously with nature.&nbsp; Each workshop is independent of the others and you do not need to attend them all. The final workshop in this series is about designing your own exotic plants food forest garden by incorporating layers of plants, selecting suitable beneficial plant combinations and using your garden’s aspect to form microclimates. The practical activity is in the orchard, where we will mark out and design our 3m x 3m small food forest. Wear a hat and covered shoes. Bring a snack and a keep cup or water bottle.&nbsp; Participants will receive a <a href="https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/clean-and-green/green-home-and-community/sustainable-gardening/compost-and-organic-waste-recycling/composting-discount-voucher" target="_blank">Composting Discount Voucher</a> to buy a compost bin or worm farm at a discounted price when purchased at Council's tip shops.
