He has also worked as a volunteer with numerous homelessness and non-profit organisations for many years.&nbsp; In 2018, Mike founded Bertonni, a social enterprise that creates meaningful employment for homeless and vulnerable young people. Bertonni designs and manufactures fine porcelain homewares.&nbsp;&nbsp; Employees are involved in the many aspects of production and learn technical ceramics skills, as well as the art of craftsmanship. <strong>Yasmin Grigaliunas, CEO and Co-Founder, World’s Biggest Garage Sale, ‘Social enterprises and the triple bottom line’</strong> An entrepreneur of impact, Yasmin Grigaliunas ditched her lucrative full-time salary in 2017 to commit to the World’s Biggest Garage Sale, a Brisbane-based organisation commercialising the circular economy by activating dormant goods for good. An activator of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, World’s Biggest Garage Sale is focused on implementation, action and multi-stakeholder partnerships for the achievement of all Sustainable Development Goals. Through World’s Biggest Garage Sale, Yasmin is providing positive impact for people, planet and profit for purpose by providing a new life for unused goods on a large scale.&nbsp; World’s Biggest Garage Sale enables large community events, pop-up shops and monthly circular economy futures meetups to explore, educate and execute on circular economy innovations. Yasmin and her award-winning team are engaging the global community in the circular economy.
