Drop in and discover the importance of tidal zones within Moreton Bay. Join us for a guided walk exploring the migratory shorebirds’ habitat. Learn about the marathon flights these amazing birds undertake, and the international importance of the wetlands.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch, as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
Meeting point: Lower Moora car park at Shorncliffe Pier.
