Drop in and discover the importance of tidal zones within Moreton Bay. Join us for a guided walk exploring the migratory shorebirds’ habitat. Learn about the marathon flights these amazing birds undertake, and the international importance of the wetlands. Children will meet live marine invertebrates at our interactive display and touch table.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch, as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
