Curiocity Brisbane returns in 2020 with unexpected and interactive experiences to spark your curiosity, and challenge and inspire visitors of all ages. The 17-day celebration of creativity, innovation, science, technology and art includes World Science Festival Brisbane, WOW (Women of the World) Australia 2020, QODE and QAGOMA Water Up Late. donna davis’s shares these symmetries between art + science through her practice. <em>Mycellium 4 (Violaceus)</em>&nbsp;by donna davis explores the dynamic and interconnected sphere of nature; reflecting on unseen symbiotic matrices such as tree-fungi relationships. Beneath our feet are a series of complex networks which act like super highways to support life above ground. These matrices known as mycorrhizal connections, are often shared between species for mutual benefit using these pathways to ensure optimum health for both species.
