Join our Brisbane City Council’s Environment Centres staff on a 1.4 km guided walk after dark, to discover the unique sights and sounds of nocturnal wildlife at the Brisbane Koala Bushlands. The activity will continue in light rain.
Requirements: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Safety requirements apply and are a condition of entry. Children must be aged six years or older and accompanied by an adult who is also booked into the walk. For safety reasons children under six cannot attend. One adult per two children is required. Please eat a light meal prior to the walk. Please wear secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, long pants and long sleeves. Bring a small hand-held torch (no headlamps), insect repellent, drinking water and a raincoat if required. Please do not leave early unless it is an emergency.
Note: Public toilets are available at the meeting point and will be visited before the walk.
Meeting point: Main picnic area located at the Alperton Road entrance at Burbank.
