Become a Shorebird Ranger for the day. Drop in and discover the importance of migratory shorebirds and their wetland habitat. Complete four missions, including meeting marine critters to bird watching. Learn about the marathon flights these amazing birds undertake from Siberia to Japan to Boondall Wetlands.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
