Find out how to turn kitchen scraps into rich nutrients for your garden at Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre. This workshop teaches you the benefits of and strategies for creating and maintaining organic composting systems. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
