Sustainable living - Compost and worm farm workshop

Drop in and learn more about composting. Find out how to turn kitchen scraps into rich nutrients for your garden at Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre. This workshop teaches you the benefits of and strategies for creating and maintaining organic composting systems.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
