The Splendours of Shandong Gala

The Splendours of Shandong Gala is part of 2019 the 17th Brisbane Chinese Culture & Arts Festival program hosted by Mainland Chinese Society Queensland (MCSQ) Inc.
This year’s festival theme is The Shandong & Confucian Cultural Heritage. Shandong is the birthplace of Confucius, who is widely considered as one of the most important and influential individuals greatly impacted people around the world.
A group of unique artists from Shandong will present at Festival Gala - The Splendors of Shandong, to perform spectacular acrobatics, martial arts, lion dancing, magic, shadow play, folk music, songs and more. It also features a stage re-creation of the historical Memorial Ceremony for Confucius.
