Rhonda Burchmore (OAM)

Rhonda Burchmore has endeared herself to the hearts of all Australians for more than 30 years. As 'first lady' of Australian musical theatre, highlights of Rhonda Burchmore's career include performing on London's West End in Sugar Babies featuring Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, Stop the World I Want to Get Off with Anthony Newly and starring opposite David Atkins in the original Hot Shoe Shuffle.

Rhonda has recorded five albums, including Cry Me a River: The World of Julie London and in 2011 released her autobiography, Legs 11.  In 2014 Rhonda was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for her service to the performing arts and community.


Luke Kennedy

Luke Kennedy sprang to national attention in 2013 as series runner-up of The Voice Australia as Ricky Martin's grand finalist. On the back of this success, Luke secured a No. 1 single on the iTunes charts for his stirring rendition of Time to Say Goodbye and was also the first artist to have a top 10 hit in the ARIA charts.

Luke has had extensive international touring experience, performing with Australia's premier classical crossover group The Ten Tenors. He now performs regularly with Swing On This, alongside leading men Ben Mingay, Michael Falzon and Rob Mills and is a presenter for Channel 7’s The Great Day Out.


Christine Anu

Christine Anu is a national treasure and Australia's most iconic female Indigenous entertainer. Her illustrious career spans over 25 years including music, theatre, dance, film and television.

Christine has made widely-acclaimed film appearances in Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge, The Matrix Reloaded and Dating the Enemy and on stage in Little Shop of Horrors, Parramatta Girls and The Sapphires. Christine is a multi-award-winning recording artist including ARIA Song of the Year for My Island Home, and ARIA Best Female Artist for Stylin’ Up.

Christine is currently host of the Evenings across Australia program on ABC Radio, and was recently the first recipient of the Australian Songwriters Association's inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Australian First Nations Music.


Jess & Matt

Jess and Matt's trademark harmonies coupled with their impressive musicality has attracted widespread international attention, receiving public praise from some of music's biggest names including Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac) and Chris Isaak.

The couple duo first captured the hearts of audiences across Australia when they took to the stage on the X Factor Australia 2015. Their captivating sound, unique arrangements and infectious chemistry took them all the way to the grand final and earned them a Sony Music record deal. Their new album Songs from the Village features 12 classic songs that defined a generation in the 1960's in Greenwich Village, New York.


Reece Mastin

A genuine talent with a natural musical ability, Reece Mastin has been writing songs and playing the guitar since the age of 12. He won The X Factor in late 2011 and went on to become the unequivocal breakout pop star of 2012, amassing a stockpile of achievements, including two platinum No. 1 albums.

Reece, now 24 years of age, released his first fully independent EP Suitcase of Stories in 2018 debuting at No. 1 on iTunes charts. This was followed by an Australian tour and a sold-out show in his childhood hometown of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire in the UK.



Mirusia studied opera at the Queensland Conservatorium and at the age of 21 was announced as the youngest ever recipient of the Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award. After graduation, her career blossomed when she toured the world for 11 years as a featured soloist with André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra.

As a solo artist she has embarked on several successful international tours in support of her acclaimed albums This Time Tomorrow and From the Heart. In 2019, she launched her new touring project Mirusia and the Original Seekers, featuring the founding members of The Seekers. She has ended the year launching the album, Christmas Memories.


The 7 Sopranos

Named as "Australia’s most beautiful voices" by the Sydney Morning Herald, The 7 Sopranos feature some of Australia's most exciting classical crossover artists. The Brisbane-based ensemble has clocked up hundreds of appearances across the globe, winning over audiences with their fusion of traditional opera and mainstream music.

With stunning voices, classic arrangements, looks and glamour, The 7 Sopranos have become a hit amongst music lovers of all genres. The 7 Sopranos are Ashleigh Denning, Bree Meara Hendy, Cait Gregor, Clarissa Spata, Deb Rogers, Emma Nightingale and Panayiota Kalatzis


Bradley Daley

Since making his debut with the English National Opera as Rodolfo in La Bohème, Bradley has worked with Opera Companies all over the world including Australia, the UK, Belgium, Italy, Paris and Germany.

Most recently, Bradley sang Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly for Opera Queensland, Sigmund in Der Ring des Nibelungen for Opera Australia. He has performed as Siegfried in both Siegfried and Götterdämmerung for Kiel Opera Germany and Walter in The Mastersingers of Nuremberg Act III concert for State Opera of South Australia.


Antoinette Halloran - Opera Queensland

Opera Queensland presents works to local, national and international audiences, and engages with communities across the entire state.  Opera Queensland’s vision is to enrich the lives of our diverse audience by creating thrilling opera with exceptional artists and partners, courageously supporting and advancing the art form.

Antoinette Halloran is one of Australia’s most accomplished and best-loved sopranos and represents Opera Queensland. Antoinette performs regularly with all the major Australasian opera companies and symphony orchestras. In 2020 she sings the title role in Tosca and appears in Lorelei for Opera Queensland.


La Forza

La Forza blends together the talents of three of Australia and New Zealand's top professional vocalists, who have performed internationally on London's West End and throughout Europe, USA, South Africa, Canada and Asia.

Performing spine tingling renditions of modern-day classics from the likes Josh Groban, Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli and Michael Bublé, as well as Rat Pack standards, La Forza exudes class and pure vocal power. La Forza features tenors Gregory Moore, Scott Muller and Cole Rintoul.



Lah-Lah is all about introducing children to music and musical instruments. As Australia's premier band for children and their families, they have been seen on Australian TV networks ABC KIDS, the Seven Network, CBeebies, Nick Jr. and Stan since 2009. Lah-Lah's Big Live Band continues to delight audiences at their sell-out live concerts across Australia and gets the whole family singing and dancing.

Lah-Lah are ARIA-nominated Sony Music recording artists with five albums of original music influenced by a wide range of genres including rock 'n' roll, jazz, gypsy, world music, Latin and pop. The band's newest project The Stripy Sock Club hit Australian screens in 2019.


Victor Valdes

Virtuoso Mexican harpist, Victor Valdes, is credited with redefining the harp as a solo and lead instrument in a multitude of musical contexts. Steeped in the folkloric traditions of his native Mexico, he has collaborated with everyone from Jimmy Barnes, Angus & Julia Stone to Los Angeles based Los Lobos.

As a solo harpist, Victor has performed on some of the world's biggest stages in over 25 different countries. For 10 years he toured the world as a member of Mexico's best-known folk group, Tlen Huicani and held the title of national Folkloric Dance Champion for three consecutive years. Victor is joined on stage by his wife and daughter, folkloric dancers Angelica Klonis Fuentes and Jenny Fuentes.


Luke Antony

With his uniquely soulful voice and energetic live performances, Luke Antony is one of Australia's most promising rising stars. Inspired by the world's great soul singers like Stevie Wonder and Al Green, he has an impressive vocal range that has encouraged comparisons to Sam Smith and George Michael.

Luke has gone on to perform with some of Australia's most well-known singers including Christine Anu, Ricki-Lee Coulter and David Campbell. In 2018 Luke wowed Australia, earning himself a spot in The Voice Top 12 on Team George.


Ellen Reed

Ellen Reed shot to national attention as superstar coach Jessie J's grand finalist on the fifth season of top-rating TV show The Voice. Placing fourth overall, Ellen won the hearts of a nation with her soaring voice, giant heart and unshakeable spirit. Since leaving the show, Ellen's popularity and profile has continued to soar as she's cemented her voice not only as one of Australia's most gifted singer/songwriters, but as a passionate brand ambassador and activist.

In 2018 she was appointed a guest judge on the new reality TV singing show All Together Now and in 2019 released her new single, You Have Been Warned.


Zeek Power

Queenslander Zeek Power was one of Australia's favourite contestants from The Voice 2019, capturing the hearts of Australian audiences and reaching the grand final representing Team Kelly Rowland.

With his appearance on The Voice, this gifted and unique artist has become a rising star. His relentless live touring schedule, including supports for Sheppard and Busby Marou, has brought him a large following in Australia. With his 'ult-R&B' twist on pop song writing, he is rapidly becoming a worldwide YouTube sensation.


Tony Dee

Tony Dee (AKA Tony Doevendans) is a Brisbane artist who loves putting a smile on people's faces with his swinging tunes and gentle love songs from the early days of jazz. Tony was born with Spina Bifida and uses a wheelchair. He is actively passionate about living life to the full.

In 2016, Channel 4 in the UK selected Tony to sing the Sammy Davis, Jr. classic, Yes, I Can for their Río Paralympics promotion, We're The Superhumans. The video and song became an international smash hit.


Camerata - Queensland's chamber orchestra

Camerata – Queensland's chamber orchestra, has established itself as a chamber orchestra of national significance with an outstanding track record of artistic achievement. A Company-in-Residence at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), Camerata's primary aim is to empower artists, inspire audiences, and enrich communities through music. Performing without a conductor, the core ensemble and their guest artists proudly take full ownership of the music-making in the spirit of chamber music to form a thriving, refreshing and acclaimed voice. Under Artistic Director Brendan Joyce, the group undertakes an annual regional Queensland tour and a subscription concert season in Brisbane and Toowoomba.


Voices of Birralee - Youth Choir

Brisbane's Voices of Birralee, launched in 1995, is one of Australia’s finest youth arts organisations, with approximately 400 choristers, aged five to 35 years across six ensembles. The organisation provides unique growth opportunities with highlights including fulfilling a five year (2015-2019) commitment to the Department of Veterans' Affairs to perform at First World War centenary services on the Western Front, Europe, the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, and regularly performing with Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Pops Orchestra. 



Vocal Manoeuvres Academy Carols Choir

The carols choir and backing vocalists feature singers from The Queensland Festival Chorus and Vocal Manoeuvres Academy. This collective consists of singers from all walks of life and facets of the community, devoting their passion, time and considerable talent to come together as an outstanding chorus and specialist vocal ensemble to perform at the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols.

Alison Rogers - Vocal Director

Alison has pioneered many innovative choral programs throughout Queensland and abroad. Recent career highlights include creative consultant to Creative Generation and choral director for Jocelyn Pook's work Memorial for the 2018 Brisbane Festival.


Children’s Christmas Spectacular and Santa Parade

Children play an enormous part in how we celebrate the festive season and the tradition of Christmas. Recognising the talent of young people and the special place that Christmas has in the hearts of children, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols presents the Children’s Christmas Spectacular and Santa Parade.
