World Wetlands Day Walk

Celebrate World Wetlands Day with an informative guided walk around the gentle 2 km Billai Dhagun Circuit. Learn the international significance of the shorebirds to our world-renowned Boondall Wetlands. Discover the traditional uses of plants and other wetlands resources. After the walk, enjoy other trails close by, relax in the picnic area or visit the environment centre.
No bookings required. Volunteer guides lead walks for groups of up to 20 people.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
