Brisbane City Council provides grants for community groups and non-profit organisations, as well as grants for art and history, environment and sustainability, schools, crime prevention, Men's Sheds and seniors. Community grants

Information on grant funding available for community groups and non-profit organisations to develop and improve facilities and services in Brisbane. The following grants are currently open for application:

Lord Mayor's Suburban Initiative Fund

Arts and history grants

Council offers a range of art and history grants, fellowships and awards for artists, creatives and historians.

Community Sport Clubs Grant Program This grant is designed to help Brisbane sport clubs to operate more sustainably.	Environmental grants This program offers financial assistance to community groups, non-profit organisations and individuals to deliver projects that directly contribute to Council's environmental objectives and priorities.
Crime prevention grant This grant provides funds to suburban businesses for projects or services to help deter crime and improve community safety.	Seniors Celebration Donation This grant helps senior citizens groups to cover the cost of activities such as social outings and Christmas parties.
School grants The School Sport and Recreation Facility Upgrade Program is funded by Council and Education Queensland. The School Tennis Partnership Program provides assistance to schools to construct new or upgrade existing tennis facilities for school or community use.	Grants and awards terms and conditions Successful applicants of Council grants must comply with terms and conditions during the course of their grant.
