Bracalba Quarry

Council owns and operates Bracalba Quarry (Moreton Bay Region) approximately 70 kilometres north of Brisbane. The quarry contains three different product groups – decomposed granite, granite hard rock and greenstone hard rock – and manufactures products for all engineering applications. Bracalba Quarry is open six days a week from 6am-4pm on weekdays and 6-10am on Saturdays, excluding public holidays. Bracalba Quarry delivers to sites in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and Somerset Region.

Brisbane Sustainability Agency

City Cemeteries

Council has 12 cemeteries and three crematoriums, managed by City Cemeteries. You can find information about the services provided including venues for burials options and grave pre-purchasing, memorials for ashes and memorial chapels.

City Parking

City Parklands Services

City Parklands Services Pty Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Council, which manages the staff responsible for the operational services and marketing activity for Roma Street Parkland and South Bank Parklands.

City Projects Office is a business unit of Brisbane City Council, offering innovative design and project management solutions in civil infrastructure, community facilities and environmental assets. City Standards

City Standards delivers total civil construction and maintenance services to South East Queensland, including Council’s waste management service contracts.

Scientific Analytical Services

Scientific Analytical Services (SAS) Laboratory is a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited facility for chemical and biological analyses and sampling of water, sewerage, wastewater, soil and air.

SAS Laboratory was acquired by Urban Utilities in August 2012.
