About Bracalba Quarry
Established in 1989, Brisbane City Council has owned and operated Bracalba Quarry since 2003.
Bracalba Quarry supplies more than two million tonnes of quarry products each year for civil construction projects in South East Queensland. It specialises in crushing aggregates for concrete, asphalt, drainage and roadbase, as well as processing a range of decomposed granite products.
Bracalba Quarry employs more than 40 people.
Quality control
Bracalba Quarry is a certified quarry with the Queensland Government, and the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
The on-site Bracalba Quarry laboratory is accredited by the Queensland Government, the Department of Transport and Main Roads and the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) Australia for construction materials testing.
Hours of operation
Bracalba Quarry is open six days a week and sells direct from the quarry.
Our hours of operation are:
Monday-Friday: 6am-4pm
Saturday: 6-10am
Sunday and public holidays: closed
Orders, payments and delivery
Bracalba Quarry is able to arrange deliveries to Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Somerset Region. With out diverse transport fleet, we can service projects requiring anything from minor loads through to major infrastructure projects requiring large quantities of product.
Payment can be made by cash, direct debit and credit card (Mastercard and Visa).
