As part of the Village Precinct Projects program, Council renewed the street frontage to the Aminya Street neighbourhood shops in Mansfield.

Council has completed a streetscape improvement project to renew the Aminya Street village shopping precinct in Mansfield. The project has delivered a more attractive, comfortable and connected centre for locals and visitors to enjoy.

We delivered the project as part of Council's Village Precint Projects program.

The precinct now includes:

  • a widened verge and buffer planting
  • construction of a new footpath on a new alignment
  • new garden beds, greenery and additional street trees
  • new street furniture including a drinking fountain, bins, bike rack and unique concrete seats with reclaimed timber seat backs
  • a new bus shelter at the inbound bus stop
  • an upgraded pedestrian crossing point and refuge on Aminya Street
  • new pedestrian refuge and upgrade of pedestrian ramps on Cresthaven Drive at the T-Junction with Aminya Street.
