Amoria Street pedestrian improvements – Mansfield

Link copied

We’re planning pedestrian connectivity and safety improvements on Amoria Street at Mingera Street in Mansfield.

Our Local Access Network Improvements program delivers small but important upgrades. These upgrades help make our suburbs safer and more accessible, particularly for pedestrians.

This project will include:

  • installing a pedestrian island to make crossing Amoria Street easier and safer
  • upgrading the existing kerb ramps to improve pedestrian accessibility
  • undertaking minor landscaping, including installing turf
  • installing new line marking, including yellow no stopping lines.

Works will take place from early October to early November 2026. Works will take place between 6.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This is subject to weather and site conditions.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may notice:

  • construction vehicles with reversing alarms and flashing lights
  • noise and dust from saw cutting and jackhammering
  • traffic controllers and signage to guide you safely
  • temporary lane closures and some traffic delays.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we undertake this important project.
