Carindale Recreation Reserve Park upgrade – Carindale

Link copied

We’re in the early stages of planning exciting new upgrades to create more to see and do at the Carindale Recreation Reserve in Carindale.

Carindale Recreation Reserve Park is a popular local park in Carindale. It features a children’s playground, kick-about areas, fitness equipment, drone-launching area, dog off-leash area, public toilets, picnic areas, BBQs and a cycleway.

We’re looking at ways to make the park even better for the future. This will ensure the park reflects the growing needs of the community.

This project is one of the many ways we are creating more to see and do in the suburbs. It supports our goal of being a healthy and active city.

We listened to the community during community engagement and the feedback will help us better understand what’s needed at the park and how we can improve it. The feedback will then help us create and shape the concept plan for the upgrades.

We’ve now closed the initial stage of community engagement. We would like to thank everyone who participated and provided their feedback on the draft concept plan.

  • November 2025: Community engagement to seek input on draft concept plan.
  • Early 2026: Release final concept plan.
  • Late 2026: Completion of park upgrade.
