Eagle Terrace pedestrian improvements - Auchenflower
We’ve completed pedestrian connectivity on Eagle Terrace at Cue Street in Auchenflower.
Our Road Construction Minor Traffic Density program delivers minor improvements across Council’s road network. It aims to improve safety, functionality and overall road quality.
Improvements for this project included:
- installing a pedestrian island and kerb build-out to make crossing the road easier and safer
- building a new wide footpath, to improve pedestrian connectivity
- constructing a new kerb and channel, to formalise the corner of Cue Street and support drainage
- removal of two trees
- new landscaping, including 10 new street trees, a garden bed and turfing along Eagle Terrace
- formalising on-street parking.
