- November 2024: Release draft concept plan and invite community consultation.
- Mid 2025: Release final concept plan.
- 2026: Commence detailed design.
- 2028: Works expected to commence. Construction dates are subject to weather and future funding.
Ellen Grove parks precinct project - Ellen Grove
Council has released a concept plan for Ellen Grove District Park and Waterford Road Park in Ellen Grove.
We engaged with the community to prepare a concept plan for 2 parks. The concept plan will guide planning for future park improvements and sport and recreation needs of the growing Ellen Grove community.
The plan proposes construction of recreational and sporting infrastructure including:
- open space
- shelters
- picnic tables
- playground
- tennis courts
- clubhouse with a kiosk, pro shop, bathroom and meeting facilities.
Council will consider the surrounding natural environmental values which will be protected and enhanced as part of the project.
