Council is installing 6 new lights along the shared pathway in Fig Tree Point Park. This pathway is part of the Moreton Bay Cycleway.
This work will extend existing pathway lighting to improve visibility for people walking and riding between Outram Street and Coolana Street, Lota.
Works include:

The project is jointly funded by Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government's Cycle Network Local Government Grants program.
- Works will generally take place from 7am-5pm, Monday to Saturday.
- You may notice deliveries of machinery/equipment/materials to the site, construction vehicle movements and noise.
- We'll establish a temporary site laydown are in the park to store materials, equipment and machinery.
- There may be intermittent, short-term delays for pathway users during works.
- Where required, traffic control will be in place to manage traffic flow on the path.
