Link copied

We're completing works as part of a Local Area Traffic Management project in the Hutton Road precinct in Aspley.

Following previous consultation in 2020 and review of recent traffic data, we're completing the following works:

  • installing 4 speed platforms along Hutton Road
  • building a pedestrian splitter island on Hutton Road at Ellerdale Street
  • adding a painted threshold treatment on Hutton Road at Zillmere Road
  • adding painted threshold treatments on Navua Avenue and Wilmah Street at Robinson Road West
  • installing line marking, including yellow ‘no stopping’ lines.

Works will take place from mid-June to early July 2025, between 7am to 5am, Monday to Friday, weather and site conditions permitting.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may notice:

  • increased noise, dust, vibration and vehicles
  • changed traffic conditions, including footpath and lane closures, and reduced speed limits
  • traffic controllers and signage onsite.

On-street parking within the works area will not be available during construction.
