Jesmond Road minor road improvements - Fig Tree Pocket
We’ve completed minor road improvements at Jesmond Road, Fig Tree Pocket, to support a safer and better functioning street with a new kerb and channel.
Our Road Construction Minor Traffic Density program aims to improve and enhance the safety, functionality and overall quality of Council’s road network with minor improvements
This project included:
- building a new kerb and channel
- installing two new stormwater drains
- formalising on-street parking
- constructing a driveway for park maintenance access
- minor turfing and asphalting
- painting a new yellow no stopping line across the new park access driveway.
