Minnie Street upgrade – Upper Kedron

Link copied

Council is upgrading Minnie Street in Upper Kedron to make it safer and to better connect road users.

The upgrade includes:

  • realigning and widening Minnie Street to improve traffic flow onto Rosella Street
  • adjusting the Cedar Creek Road intersection so vehicles can move more efficiently
  • adding bike lanes along Minnie Street to connect to existing bike lanes on Cedar Creek Road and Rosella Street
  • reconstructing the footpath to match the new street layout
  • refreshing road surfaces, line marking and turf where needed.

We’re also exploring ways to reduce congestion at the McGinn Road and Mcalroy Road intersection to improve access and allow for future bus services into Upper Kedron.

The upgrade is jointly funded by the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council.
