Mount Gravatt Outlook Reserve - Planning for the future

Council is upgrading Mount Gravatt Outlook Reserve to improve picnic facilities at the summit outlook area.

We’ve identified potential opportunities to upgrade the picnic facilities at the summit. These upgrades will include:

  • new picnic shelters
  • picnic seating and furniture
  • retaining walls
  • minor landscaping improvements.

We’re not proposing to remove any trees as part of the picnic facilities upgrade works.

We will complete this upgrade work from 19 May to mid-July 2025, weather and site conditions permitting.

Some sections, including some parking bays, of the summit will be closed during construction.
