The North Quay lift, adjacent stairs and ramp will be closed during the works. There will be a detour in place between William Street, Queens Wharf Road, the North Quay ferry terminal and Bicentennial Bikeway.

The detour is approximately 140 metres and contains alternative lift, stair and ramp access.

Please follow detour signage and the direction of traffic controllers.

A site compound will be set up near the William Street lift access.

During these works, you may notice:

  • deliveries of machinery, equipment and materials
  • construction vehicle movements with reversing alarms and flashing lights.
