Permain Street pedestrian improvements – Middle Park

This location has been identified for upgrades to improve pedestrian safety near the local school and provide clearer traffic guidance through the intersection.

This work is part of our Local Access Network Improvement program. The program delivers minor upgrades that improve safety and accessibility. These small changes can make a big difference in local streets.

This project will include:

• installing a pedestrian island to make crossing Permain Street easier and safer
• upgrading the existing kerb ramps to improve pedestrian accessibility
• installing turf
• upgrading or installing new compliant lighting where required
• installing new line marking, including yellow no stopping lines.
