Ridge Street drainage works - Greenslopes
Works to upgrade the stormwater drainage network in Ekibin Park East, next to Ridge Street in Greenslopes are now complete.
These essential works enhanced the underground drainage capacity and improved local flood immunity.
Works included:
- excavating small sections of Ekibin Park East
- removing existing pipes and manholes to make way for new infrastructure
- installing new overflow pipes, manholes and other supporting infrastructure
- widening the existing cycle path to 4.5 metres
- reshaping the drainage alignment
- vegetation trimming, where required.
