We’ve recently upgraded the water play facility at Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks.

The upgraded water play area features:

  • a new look splash pad
  • new shade sails
  • a more sustainable water system
  • improved stormwater drainage.

Thank you to the community for your patience as we resurfaced the water play area to reduce the risk of slipping, after we heard your feedback in late 2025. 

  • April 2025: Residents notified of works.
  • Mid-July 2025: Works expected to commence on the water play upgrade, subject to weather.
  • December 2025: Main works completed.
  • January 2026: Additional water play surface works completed.
