Wendon Way waterway rehabilitation – Bridgeman Downs
We’re getting ready to start works to improve and protect the creek at Wendon Way Park in Bridgeman Downs.
Wendon Way is home to a vibrant mix of native plants and wildlife. Over time, the creek banks have worn down, and weeds have grown in the creek. Our project will restore creek health, improve water quality and create a better habitat for native wildlife
The works will stabilise the creek banks, remove invasive weeds and plant more native vegetation.
These improvements will support a cleaner, healthier waterway and help protect an important platypus area.
