Council is planning to create a 20-year master plan to renew and rejuvenate the Wynnum, Manly and Lota Foreshores.

Wynnum, Manly and Lota Foreshores are key Brisbane leisure and lifestyle destinations. Council is committed to protecting and improving our city's natural areas, while also promoting active, healthy lifestyles for residents.

We're creating a 20-year master plan for the renewal of the foreshores.

Council has now closed the initial stage of community engagement and would like to thank everyone who participated and provided their input into the project. We will use this input to help prepare the draft Wynnum, Manly and Lota Foreshores Master Plan.

Once the draft Master Plan is prepared the community will again be invited to have their say. 

Suburban Renewal Precinct

We are also currently seeking feedback for the Wynnum Centre Suburban Renewal Precinct plan.

  • Early to mid-2025: Invite community and key stakeholder input.
  • Mid-2025 to early to mid-2026: Prepare draft master plan and invite community feedback. 
  • Mid to late 2026: Finalise the master plan.
