Council is investigating improvements to the transport infrastructure in the Wynnum Manly Safer School Precinct to ease congestion and improve safety for everyone who lives, learns, works and visits the local area.

Council is creating Safer School Precincts in our suburbs to provide easier and safer ways for everyone to move around our schools and local streets. 

The Wynnum Manly  Safer School Precinct supports the following schools and surrounding local community:

  • Wynnum State High School
  • Manly State School
  • St John Vianney's Primary School.

Council undertook community consultation in mid-2025. We received valuable feedback from residents, businesses and school community members during the consultation period. Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide their feedback.
