genYOU Inspire 2021 provided young people aged 17-25 the opportunity to attend four events targeted toward bridging the gap between study and employment. At these events participants had a chance to network with other young professionals and hear firsthand from a variety of industry experts about the attitudes and skills required to help stand out from the crowd and succeed in the workplace.

Series overview

Brisbane City Council partnered with generationYOU to present a series of free events from April to September 2021. The events covered the following topics:

  • April – How to hustle your way into a job
  • May – Growing and nurturing your network
  • August – Nailing communication in the workplace
  • September – How to hustle your way into a job (repeat of April event).

This program was offered as part of Brisbane City Council’s commitment to nurturing innovation and investing in a strong economy with more jobs right across Brisbane.
