UPDATED: Changed traffic conditions in Charlotte Street and George Street, Brisbane City
*Due to forecast wet weather, the below closure has been cancelled.*
Traffic changes will be in place from 11.59pm Friday 1 May to 5am Monday 4 May in Brisbane City due to crane works.
- Charlotte Street, between Edward Street and George Street, will be closed during this time.
- George Street, southbound (towards City Botanic Gardens) between Charlotte Street and Mary Street, will be closed during this time.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and avoid the area if possible.
Queensland Police Service, traffic controllers, and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed during active hours
