Changed traffic conditions in Elizabeth Street and Edward Street, Brisbane City
Traffic changes will be in place from 8.30pm Sunday 16 August to 5am Monday 17 August 2026, in Brisbane City due to large crane works.
The following roads will be closed during this time:
- Full road closure on Elizabeth Street, between George Street and Edward Street.
- Two of 3 lanes closure on Elizabeth Street, between William Street and George Street.
- Full Road closure on Edward Street, between Elizabeth Street and Charlotte Street.
- One of 2 lane closure on Edward Street, between Queen Street and Elizabeth Street.
Police, traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
