Changed traffic and parking conditions in Petrie Terrace and Lang Park Traffic Area for Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo International 2026

Traffic and parking changes will be in place from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 February in Petrie Terrace due to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo International 2026 events at and around Suncorp Stadium. The Lang Park Traffic Area will also be activated during this time.

Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo March

On Friday 13 February, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will march down Petrie Terrace. Petrie Terrace between Menzies Street and Milton Road will be fully closed between 4.50pm and 5.20pm.

Lang Park Traffic Area activation

Normal Lang Park Traffic Area conditions for event days will apply between Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 February. A 15-minute parking limit applies on all roads within this area on event days, from 2 hours before gates open at Suncorp Stadium to 2 hours after an event finishes, unless signed otherwise.

In addition to the normal Lang Park Traffic Area activation, the following changed parking conditions will apply between Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 February:

  • From 4pm Thursday 12 February until 5.30pm Sunday 15 February, Castlemaine Street between Blaxland Street and Cordova Street will be a designated event loading zone
  • From 7.30pm Thursday 12 February until midnight Sunday 15 February, Petrie Terrace between Wellington Street and Cricket Street will be a designated event coach parking zone.

Police, traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.

Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
