Changed traffic and parking conditions in Fortitude Valley for James Street Food and Wine Trail 2026

The following roads will be fully closed from 7pm Saturday 25 July to 1am Sunday 26 July:

• James Street between Doggett Street and Harcourt Street
• Robertson Street between James Street and Brunswick Street
• Arthur Street between Chester Street and Brunswick Street. 

The following roads will have half road closures from 7pm Saturday 25 July to 1am Sunday 26 July:

• James Street, Southeast bound between Ann Street and McLachlan Street
• Doggett Street, Southwest bound between James Street and Wandoo Street. 

The following roads will be fully closed from 1am to 11.30pm Sunday 26 July:

• James Street between McLachlan Street and Harcourt Street
• Robertson Street between James Street and Brunswick Street
• Doggett Street between James Street and Wandoo Street
• Fortitude Street between James Street and Wandoo Street
• Arthur Street between Chester Street and Brunswick Street. 

The following road will be half closed from 1am to 11.30pm Sunday 26 July:

• James Street, Southeast bound between Ann Street and McLachlan Street. 

Parking conditions will be temporarily changed to ‘No Stopping, Tow Away’ from 7pm Friday 24 July to 7pm Sunday 26 July on the below streets:

• James Street between Doggett Street and Arthur Street
• Robertson Street between James Street and Brunswick Street

Traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.

Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
