CANCELLED: Changed traffic conditions in George Street, Brisbane City
The planned closures of George street on between 7pm Sunday 9 August 2026 to 3am Monday 10 August 2026 and 7pm Monday 24 August 2026 to 3am Tuesday 25 August 2026 are no longer taking place.
Traffic changes will be in place on 3 separate occasions in George Street, Brisbane City:
- 7pm Sunday 2 August 2026 to 3am Monday 3 August 2026
- 7pm Sunday 9 August 2026 to 3am Monday 10 August 2026
- 7pm Monday 24 August 2026 to 3am Tuesday 25 August 2026
During these times there will be a full closure on George Street, between Elizabeth Street and Burnett Lane, due to a crane lift.
Service and delivery vehicles access to Queen Street Mall via George Street will be maintained.
Traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
